According to Al-Alam, Brigadier General Ismail Qaani, commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, met with senior Iraqi officials during a short visit to Baghdad.

During the meeting, Sardar Qaani discussed ways to develop bilateral relations between Tehran and Baghdad with Iraqi officials.

Al-Alam added that this visit \ was done in the framework of pre-planned trips.

The commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards has traveled to Iraq several times before and discussed bilateral relations with Iraqi officials.
