US policy toward Kurds won’t change with new presidents: party leader

A member of the political school of the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party (Al-Parti) said that the United States has a specific doctrine and it will not change with new people in the politics.

"I do not think there will be any change in US policy towards the Kurds," Hussein Masto, a member of the political bureau of the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party (Al-Parti), told KurdPress.

He continued: America has a specific doctrine and does not change with one person.

"At the moment, the danger for the United States is China, Iran and some other countries, and I think the American political system is looking for Trump to remain in power,” the politician added.

"The United States has a serious policy ahead of it, and the outcome will be determined in the next six months on world politics," he said.

"The results may show that Biden is in the lead, but maybe something will happen and Trump will be re-elected," he said.
